Here at Thrifty Knits NH, I aim to encourage and support sustainable crafting while offering traditionally expensive fibers at a reasonable cost. All of the yarn I have listed has been reclaimed from sweaters and other knit items that I have found at thrift stores, garage sales, or that have been donated to me. During the reclaiming process, I carefully unravel each item by hand, wind the unraveled yarn back into skeins, then thoroughly wash and air-dry before labeling and packaging. I largely focus on natural fibers such as wool, cashmere, alpaca, cotton, silk, and linen, though I occasionally offer synthetic blend yarns for a discounted price if I find them too enticing to pass over.
