The Collaborative Nest?
We are a collaborative made up of various small business owners and craftsfolk in the Concord, New Hampshire area who’s focuses range from sustainable crafting supplies, hand-made household decorations, naturally dyed fabrics and fibers, and much more. The collaborative works to ensure that small, up and coming businesses are able to defray the burdens, both financial and time resources, that come with running a small business. Together we hope to encourage and support creativity, sustainability, and community.
Who are these folks?
Hello! Our names are Josh and Oak. The Nest started as a conversation between us about the challenges facing artists trying to make a start and the further overwhelm of running a business when you add neurodivergence into the mix (depending on your flavour). We expanded the conversation to other local artists and small business owners and it became clear there were plenty of people who felt the same, and so this dream has bloomed of a supportive business community for artists. We currently run things around here, but we hope in the future to share the nurture of this concept with a diversity of other hands.
