Hi, my name is Oak! I was doomed to art from a young age as both my parents were artists who pressed outside societal norms so they could live a creative life, something I’ve always admired and aspire to. I have dabbled in many mediums (and will continue to do so for the rest of my life, I’m sure), but the main ones sticking at the moment are knitting and photography. Tying together all my creative expression is the inspiration of nature. Be that capturing still moments of it, reproducing knitted specimens, using the colour palettes of seasons and places, or even creating items that help us treat nature a little better. It brings me joy to make with my hands and I hope by sharing my creations I can scatter glimmers of joy out into the world
